How to Clean/Sanitize Sound Equipment

It is crucial that you clean your station before and after each use. Remember, there are several people in our church who have pre-existing conditions that could be hospitalized if a serious illness is spread (Influenza, COVID-19, bronchitis, etc.).

If you have had a fever or violent cough over the past few days, please get tested for COVID-19. Call another team member as soon as possible to replace your spot for the week.

Steps to Keep Your Station Sanitary

1. You must wear a mask at all times when in the production booth.
2. Wash your hand thoroughly for 30 seconds after using the bathroom.

How to Clean Before Use

1. Ensure everything is off.
2. Using a cleaning wipe, wipe down the sound board, computer keyboard, computer mouse, and any other device you intend to use.
3. Wipe down the counter around the sound equipment.
4. Throw away the cleaning wipe(s).

How to Clean After Use

1. Ensure everything is off.
2. With a new cleaning wipe, wipe down the sound board, computer keyboard, computer mouse, and any other devices used.
3. Wipe down any tablets used by band members.
4. Wipe down any other surfaces you came into contact with while running production (desk, chair, railing, etc.).
5. Throw away the cleaning wipe(s).
